On 9 May 2025, our journal was officially indexed in the internationally renowned Research4Life database.
This achievement constitutes yet another authoritative recognition of the journal’s rising international influence and academic credibility, and it will powerfully advance our efforts to enlarge global reach, enhance dissemination, and strengthen editorial quality.
To date, the journal has been indexed by the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) database, Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, EuroPub, Index Copernicus (ICI World of Journals and ICI Journals Master List), and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)—all internationally respected abstracting and indexing services—further amplifying our worldwide visibility.
Research4Life is a cross-institutional collaboration initiated by the World Health Organization (WHO) and four other United Nations agencies, working together with Cornell University, Yale University, and more than 155 leading scientific publishers. Within Research4Life, the HINARI program focuses on health research and its literature covers about 95 percent of the world’s high-disease-burden regions. The platform aims to break down barriers to knowledge, reshape the global distribution of scholarly resources, and foster a more diverse and inclusive network for international scientific collaboration.
Research4Life comprises five thematic initiatives—Health Research (HINARI), Agricultural Research (AGORA), Environmental Research (OARE), Development and Innovation Research (ARDI), and Global Justice Research (GOALI). Since 2002, Research4Life has provided more than 11,500 institutions in over 125 low- and middle-income countries with free or low-cost access to some 203,000 leading journals and books across health, agriculture, environment, applied sciences, and legal information.
