摘 要: 碳化硼陶瓷具有高硬度、高熔点和低密度的特点, 是优异的结 构陶瓷, 在民用、宇航和军事等领域都得到了重要应用。本文中综述了 碳化硼结构陶瓷的优异性能和制备新方法, 重点介绍了自蔓延高温合 成法(SHS), 碳管炉、电弧炉碳热还原法, 激光化学气相反应法, 溶胶 凝胶碳热还原法等合成碳化硼粉末的主要方法以及碳化硼成型和烧 结的常用方法, 简述了碳化硼抗弹陶瓷材料的发展应用和研究现状。

Abstract: Boron carbide ceramics are excellent structural materials which have important applications in the civil, aero and military fields, owing to the properties of high hardness, high melting point and low den sity. The excellent functions of boron carbide as structure porcelain and ceramics and the new fabricating method were reviewed. The synthesis methods of boron carbide powder including self-propagation high tem perature synthesis, carbothermal reduction process using carbon tubefur nace, laser induced chemical vapor deposition and sol-gel carbothermal reduction route were introduced. The present research situation and de velopment on the preparation of boron carbide materials were also re viewed.
