摘要:利用苯甲酸对纳米氧化锌进行表面改性,用亲油化度和吸水率表征改性效果,确定其最佳改性工艺为:苯甲酸质量分数为15%,改性温度为100~105℃,改性时间为2 h。通过X射线衍射、红外光谱、透射电镜、沉降实验和接触角测试,对改性前后的样品进行表征。结果表明,苯甲酸对纳米氧化锌的改性属于化学改性,苯甲酸的羧基与纳米氧化锌表面的羟基发生键合反应,从而改变了纳米氧化锌的性能;改性后的纳米氧化锌样品结晶度高,分散性好,疏水性明显提高。

Abstract:The surface of ZnO nano-particles was modified by benzoic acid.The effect of modification was characterized by the lipophilicity and the water-absorption rate.The best craft parameters and craft conditions for preparation of modified ZnO nano-particles were that the mass fraction of benzoic acid additive was 15%,modification temperature was 100~105 ℃ and modificati on time was 2 h.Both the unmodified and modified samples were characterized by X ray diffraction(XRD),infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),sedimentation experiments and contact angle test,respectively.The results show that the surface of ZnO nano-particles is chemically modified by benzoic acid,and the bonding reaction takes place between the carboxyl of benzoic acid and the hydroxyl on the surface of ZnO.The modified samples have good crystal and favorable dispersion in solvent.The hydrophobicity of samples is increased significantly.
