基于 EDEM 软件的粉料压制过程仿真与分析

摘要:为了验证在陶瓷墙地砖粉料压制过程中运用离散元软件EDEM分析的可行性,利用EDEM对陶瓷墙地砖粉料压制过程进行数值模拟分析,采用控制变量方法进行多组粉料压制过程的动态仿真实验,通过对实验数据的分析得出压制速度和压制力之间的关系。结果表明,在其他条件相同时,压制力与压制坯体密度均随着粉料压制速度的增大而增大,采用EDEM软件仿真的结果与压力机的实际工作情况是相符的。

Abstract: To verify the feasibility of using discrete element analysis software EDEM in tile powder pressing, the process of tile powder pressing was simulated by the discrete element software EDEM. The dynamic simulation of multiple sets of tile powder pressing was conducted by the method of control variables. The relationship between pressing speed and pressing force was obtained through analysis of experimental data. The results show that both pressing force and density of the compacted body increase with the increase of pressing speed with other conditions being the same. The simulation results using EDEM software are consistent with actual working status of presses.
