竖管内球形颗粒沉降的运动特性

摘要:为了探究管内颗粒沉降规律以及直接数值模拟计算方法的可靠性,搭建了竖管内颗粒自由沉降实验平台进行对比研究。通过MATLAB软件对高速摄像仪拍摄的数字图像进行处理,获得颗粒沉降过程的位置轨迹图与位置坐标;同时采用直接数值模拟方法得到颗粒沉降过程速度云图与位置分布图。结果表明:颗粒沉降运动经历了加速到逐渐稳定的过程,运动轨迹呈螺旋式下降规律,径向位置的分布具有周期性摆动,模拟结果与实验结果能较好地匹配,验证了实验与直接数值模拟法的可行性与可靠性。

Abstract: In order to investigate the law of particle sedimentation in the tube and the reliability of the direct numerical simulation calculation method,an experimental platform for particle free sedimentation in a vertical tube was set up for comparative research. The digital image captured by the high-speed camera was processed by MATLAB software to obtain the position trajectory map and position coordinates of the particle sedimentation process. At the same time,the direct cloud simulation method was used to obtain the velocity cloud map and position distribution map of the particle sedimentation process. The results show that the particle sedimentation movement has experienced a process of acceleration to gradual stability,the trajectory of the movement is in a spiral downward law,and the distribution of the radial position has periodic oscillation.The simulation results can match well with the experimental results,the feasibility and reliability of the experiment and direct numerical simulation method are verified.
